A teenager has been charged in connection with two threats at a Collierville school

COLLYERVILLE, Tenn. (WMC) – A teenager is facing charges after making threats to two Collierville schools Monday morning.

Collierville Police say a 16-year-old boy reportedly made threatening calls to West Collierville and Goddard High Schools.

Collierville Schools says students and staff were evacuated and taken to Collierville Baptist Church.

Law enforcement officers from Collierville Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) searched the townships.

Collierville police say the teenager has been charged through Shelby County Juvenile Court on charges related to making terroristic threats.
