The Corner releases the name of the woman killed in the East Moline crash

EAST MOLINE, IL (KWQC) – The Rock Island County Coroner’s Office has released the name of a woman killed in a crash in East Moline on Monday.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday for Amiah Weathers, 22, of Moline, Coroner Brian Gustafson said.

Rock Island County deputies responded to the crash in the 2600 block of 19th Street around 9:30 a.m. Deputies said the vehicle was southbound when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to roll and eject one of the passengers.

Weathers was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to deputies, two other occupants, a man and a woman, were also injured and taken to a local hospital.

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
