13 Vanessa Gongora on your side with some candidates about the election and why they should be elected
SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KYMA, KESI) – Six candidates for San Luis City Council, hoping to win one of three prizes, set up booths outside the voting center located at the Cesar Chavez Cultural Center.
Their goal was to inform voters about the changes they wanted to make before casting their final vote.
Some of the candidates stated that the morning was smooth and steady, but as time went on, the parking lot began to fill up.
Candidate Lisette Servin says she’s pleased with the influx of traffic, but that doesn’t mean the campaign is over.
Servin says: “When it comes to politics, it’s never enough. You have to work until the last day.” “Last minute, last hour, so we’ll be here by 7.”
Full election coverage will continue throughout the evening, with updates at 10 p.m
