EWC Rodeo Team hosts the Black and Gold Jeans Buckles Gala

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – The Eastern Wyoming College Rodeo Team will host a “Black and Gold Jeans” fundraiser on Friday, November 18 at the Rendezvous Center at the Goshen County Fairgrounds in Torrington, Wyo.

“The fundraiser is a way to cover the out-of-pocket costs team members have to pay to compete,” said EWC Rodeo Head Coach Whit Peterson. “It also goes to cover the cost of feeding and caring for the animals we exercise every day.”

The gala features a cocktail hour beginning at 4:30 p.m., dinner at 6:00 p.m., and a live auction at 7:00 p.m. There will also be a silent auction, with the band Southern Fried playing live music after. auction, and there will be fun activities for everyone.

Auction items include Buyer’s Choice National Finals Rodeo Plaza Tickets, Cheyenne Days Tickets, a Guided Fly Fishing Trip for Two and a Goose Hunt for Four and more.

Tickets are $35 each and children 10 and younger are free. Tickets can be purchased in person at EWC or online cvent.me/LZZgaz. Dinner will be provided by Redz Bar and Grill and a cash bar will be provided by 307 Sports Bar and Grill.

“Team Rodeo EWC members give their time and talents every day to represent our community,” said Peterson. “This is a way for us to give back to them.”
