CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – The midterm elections are just one day away, but many Wyomingians are making their voices heard early.
Monday is the last day for early and absentee voting, all early ballots must be submitted by 4.30pm on November 7th.
As of Friday, the number of early voting ballots was more than 9,000, with about 28 percent of registered ballots already in.
On election day, 7 polling stations are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, voters’ ID cards are required and registration is possible on the same day.
“There was a lot of interest in this election, and at first people were saying, ‘Oh, there’s not enough turnout.’ prevails,” said Laramie County Clerk Debra Lee.
Officials will also live stream their absentee ballot processing. Voters can watch it in real time as the ballots are counted.
