BISMARCK, ND (KFYR) – The Burley County Emergency Management Director says some voters were delayed by 20 minutes Tuesday morning because of computer login issues at polling locations.
This issue was related to 8 of the 18 election precincts of this district.
The computer registration process helps election officials distribute the correct ballots to voters at the correct polling place.
Officials say that the regular update “affected the configuration of the survey panels”, but the issue was resolved in 20 minutes.
Election officials add that the computer verification process will not affect the way ballots are cast, counted or tabulated.
Voting closes at 19:00 local time on Tuesday.
