Autumn like conditions will return for the rest of the week

MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – Happy Wednesday! We are off to a great start this morning with temps in the 60’s. Highs today are in the low to mid 70s across the region, with overnight lows in the lower 50s. It will be the perfect fall day to get out and enjoy it. A good 5 to 15 mph wind will blow in the area, giving us a nice, cool, clear day.

Wednesday Morning Update on Tropics:

Tropical Storm Nicole is expected to strengthen to Category 1 storm status before moving inland in Florida. Tropical storm and hurricane warnings are already in effect for all of Florida and the Bahamas. Hurricane watches and severe weather warnings are also in effect for coastal Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Our thoughts and prayers go out to our friends and family in the area.
