CORINTH, Miss. (WMC) – A 2-year-old boy was injured in an accidental shooting and taken to a Corinth hospital.
Around 8:30 Monday morning, officers responded to a 911 call on Proper Street about a 2-year-old boy with a gunshot wound. The child was taken to Magnolia Hospital, where he quickly underwent surgery and recovered.
The child was then taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital around 11:20 a.m. Police say it appears to have been an accidental shooting and the investigation is ongoing.
