SIOUX FALLS, SD (Dakota News Now) – Sioux Falls police went to investigate a gun violation to find a dog charged at random.
According to Adam Peterson of the Sioux Falls Police Department, on Sunday at 3:19 p.m., a man told Sioux Falls officers that his dog knocked a gun off a table and it accidentally went off. No one was hurt, but a video game controller was damaged. After investigating, authorities determined the man was lying and he admitted he was actually trying to clean his gun when it accidentally discharged. The man said that at first he was ashamed to tell the truth.
