Lacks a bit of luster. Tom Brady has been spotted without his wedding ring for the second time amid rumors that he and his wife are dating Gisele Bündchen call for a break.
In the photos he got Page Six, the NFL star, 45, was seen leaving his hotel on Sunday, October 16. Brady kept it casual as he boarded the bus for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, wearing a light blue jacket with navy pants. The quarterback had a white watch on his wrist, however, his ring finger remained bare.
This isn’t the first time Brady has been spotted without a wedding band. And a seven-time Super Bowl champion and Bündchen42 – who married in 2009 and shares children Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9 – recently seen without their martial jewelry.
The Brazilian, for her part, was photographed getting gas without her rings on Oct. 6, a day before a 2022 World Cup ad featuring Brady without his band was released.
Us Weekly confirmed that the two had hired divorce lawyers late last month.
“Gisele was the first to hire [an attorney] and Tom responded,” the insider exclusively said Us in that time. “They are still at odds with each other. … They continue to live apart.”
Speculation that Brady and Bündchen facing marital woes that first erupted earlier this year when the professional athlete revealed he was returning to football just six weeks after announcing his retirement.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel has not attended any of her husband’s matches this season, and an insider is speaking exclusively Us last week that even the couple’s inner circle is frustrated by Brady’s actions.
“Gisele and Tom’s friends are furious with Tom for going back on his word and coming out of retirement,” the source said. “They hate the way Tom refuses to bend for Gisele.”
Rumors swirled further about the couple’s rift earlier this month when the mother-of-two commented on the praying hands emoji underneath the author’s Instagram post Jay Shetty.
“You cannot be in a committed relationship with someone who is inconsistent with you,” the excerpt read, along with the caption: “Love is a daily effort. Some days it may come easier than others and that’s okay, but what should always remain consistent is the respect and admiration you have for your partner’s values and goals.”
During her October cover story with Ella, the Taxi The star revealed her reservations about her husband’s retirement.
“Obviously I have my concerns – this is a very violent sport and I have my children and I would like him to be more present. I definitely had those conversations with him over and over again,” she explained. “But in the end, I feel everyone has to make the decision that fits [them]. And he should follow his joy.”
