WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The cause of a fatal Andover house fire earlier this month has been ruled accidental by the Andover Fire Department (AFR).
The fire happened Sunday, October 2 at 1:43 a.m. in the 300 block of S. Clubhouse Circle.
“Following a thorough investigation and due to extensive damage, the exact cause of a recent house fire in Andover will remain undetermined,” the AFR said.
According to the Fire and Rescue Service, evidence suggests the fire was accidental in nature. AFR estimates the damage to the property and its contents at $300,000.
According to AFR, a neighbor saw the house on fire and called the fire brigade.
