The Bachelor’s Vanessa Grimaldi shares a photo of adult diapers after giving birth

Life after motherhood. Vanessa Grimaldi gave fans a glimpse of how she’s been doing since welcoming son Winston last month.

“My favorite outfit I’ve ever worn to date,” Bachelor alum, 35, wrote over Instagram on Saturday, October 15, with a video of him cuddling a newborn. “My postpartum look: greasy hair, grown-up diapers, chapped lips, bright smile, love in my eyes, glowing heart and a body that gave me the best gift, my baby boy.”

The former reality star also opened up about how “proud” she feels about giving birth. “I’ve never been more grateful, proud and confident in my own skin,” she continued. “Thank you body for all you can do and continue to do. For everything you KNOW how to do. 🙏🏼🤩.”

Several of Grimaldi’s colleagues Bachelor alums praised the new mom for her honesty in the comments section of her post. “So sweet,” she wrote Raven Gateswho along with Grimaldi competed for Nick Viallheart during season 21 of the ABC dating show. Chelsea Vaughnwhich appeared in Matt James‘ season, added: “And you are so beautiful!!”

Grimaldi and her husband, Joshua Wolfe, welcomed their first child on September 29. The duo announced the news a day later, sharing photos from their time in the hospital. “Nothing will beat my 35th birthday!” the Canadian native wrote via Instagram at the time. “Our little miracle decided to be born the day before mom’s birthday, so we celebrated his birthday and my 35th in the hospital as a new family!”

The Bachelor Nation cast member and Wolfe, 37, tied the knot in August 2021, a year after getting engaged. “9. August 2020 will forever be my favorite DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!” Grimaldi wrote via Instagram after her boyfriend popped the question. “@jbrwolfe YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING AND I CAN’T WAIT TO BE WITH YOU FOREVER!!!!!! #engaged.”

Grimaldi was previously engaged to Viall, 42, after he proposed during the 21st season finale. The Bachelorwhich aired in March 2017. The couple called it quits later that year.

“We are both very heartbroken that we have decided to end our engagement,” the former couple said Us Weekly in a joint statement in August 2017. “We gave our all to this relationship and are saddened that we didn’t get the fairytale ending we were hoping for. We will still be there for each other no matter what. This was not an easy decision, however, as we part ways, we do so with much love and admiration for each other.”

The “Viall Files” host, for his part, has since moved on Natalie Joy. “[She] she not only taught me, but she showed me how to be present,” the Wisconsin native said of the model, 24, during an interview with Us“Here for the Right Reasons” podcast earlier this month. “She showed me how important it is to take time in any moment – whether you’re drinking coffee at the barista or going to the grocery store, those little moments when you see people and make them feel validated are really special day to day, and especially in a relationship.” ”
