LINCOLN, Neb. (COLOGNE) – If you were upset by the winter-like temperatures earlier this week, then we have some very good news.
Although it will still be somewhat chilly Thursday morning, high temperatures will climb into the 70s across the state. In eastern Nebraska, expect lows in the mid 70s to mid 70s to low 80s in the central and western parts of the state. A mix of sun and clouds, but unfortunately, rain is not in the pipeline either.

As we head into Friday, the 80 degree sign will expand along and south of I-80. Farther north, mid to upper 70s are possible, with lower 70s closer to north-central Nebraska. Plus, the filtered sunlight continues.

The 80s will be on the way Saturday before a strong cold front moves across the state on Sunday. The 80s will continue to cool before the 50s return on Monday. In terms of precipitation, our first chance during the day starts on Sunday.
