Scheana Shay discusses Brittany, the Stassi feud

The argument rages. Amide Brittany Cartwright and Stassi Schroederthe schism is ongoing, Scheana Shay revealed where the two of them now stand.

“I don’t think my podcast helped, to be honest,” Vanderpump Rules star, 37, exclusively told Us Weekly at BravoCon 2022 on Saturday, Oct. 15, referring to her “Scheananigans” podcast episode where Brittany, 33, opened up about her perspective. “The point of doing that podcast was just to tell Brittany’s side and I thought, you know, ‘Stassi, you’re going to hear this. Like, that’ll fix everything.’ And that totally backfired on us. so, [their relationship is] still where it left off.”

The drama began leading up to the 34-year-old Bravo alum’s Italian wedding Beau Clarkin which Brittany and husband Jax Taylor were among a small group of loved ones invited to the May ceremony. (The hosts of the “The Good, the Bad and the Baby” podcast had to scale back plans amid the coronavirus pandemic and travel restrictions.) According to the bride and groom, Jax and Brittany take Kentucky the students were reportedly not being honest about their plans to attend and only revealed that they were unable to arrive a few days before the wedding.

“Cruz’s passport didn’t arrive, my mom had a death in the family and she had to go home,” the Kentucky native said on the “Betches Moms” podcast in June, referring to the couple’s 18-month-old son. “I mean, there were real things that happened right before the wedding that we couldn’t actually make it to the wedding for those reasons. But I know, like I have to wait until the last minute and I can’t be there for someone that I really consider one of my best friends, like, I feel terrible and I’m really sorry. And I hope one day we can talk about this and figure it all out.”

Brittany then went on the “Good as Gold” singer’s podcast a month later, claiming she had always planned to attend before the schedule changed. Scheana, for her part, said Us in July that the podcast appearance “broke,” and Stassi allegedly refunded the money Brittany had already paid for the dinner plates.

Although things remain tense between the two former SUR employees, Scheana explained that she is used to the tense dynamics of the actors.

“I mean, there’s always a divide on this show, you know, it’s never just been one happy group,” the California native — who married Brock Davies in August – he said exclusively talking to Us on Saturday. “So it’s hard when [for example]I don’t agree with one of them Lala [Kent]Best Friends [or] she doesn’t get along with one of my best friends.”

She added: “It’s hard for us, but… this year [we stayed] focused on us and keeping everything else separate.”
