Her side of the story. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga in more detail about what happened when her partner Jennifer Aydin threw a drink at her and her husband Joe Gorga during BravoCon.

“I rarely feel the need to deal with these things and refuse to give them too much time or energy,” I love Italian style the author, 43, said during the Thursday, October 20, episode her podcast “Melissa Gorga On Display”.. “The truth is that BravoCon is a festive event. It shouldn’t be about the Housewives drama. It shouldn’t be about who doesn’t like who and who doesn’t agree with whom. It’s really about the fans.”

The “I Just Wanna” singer explained that there was tension between her and Aydin, 45, because of what her co-star said about her during RHONJ panels on Saturday, October 15. “Things that are really not in your lane,” Gorga said. “You have to stay in your lane. Second, I’m not sure what show you’re watching if I’m ‘hanging by a thread’. … It’s just, like, a very toxic path to go down to create tension that’s unnecessary at a celebratory event.”

The Bravo personality claimed that she and her husband, 43, were standing in the lobby of the Gansevoort Hotel later that night chatting with Family karma actors when Aydin entered the building.

“She then walks in with her assistant and just walks past me and gives me this sneaky look in the eye as she walks past me,” Melissa recalled. “I just look at her and say — in my tone, my Melissa Gorga tone, no yelling or screaming — I say, ‘Keep moving, wannabe. Come on, loser, just keep walking. There’s an elevator.’ Literally everything I said.”

The “On Display” singer said the Ultimate Beauty Pillow creator started “screaming and yelling” after hearing the comments. “What, okay, come on—if you can wash it, but you can’t stand it? All day you say things that are 10 times worse than, ‘Hey, loser, keep walking,’” Melissa said Thursday. “I could have chosen much worse words, but I didn’t.”

The reality star admitted that her husband said he didn’t know what “this dirty bitch” was like. RHONJ, but according to Melissa, he was talking to their friends, not Aydin. “Now she’s crazy, now she’s trying to get the guy I work with drunk,” Melissa claims. “She threw it all over the lobby. It hit the guard. … By the way, she should probably take care of his dry cleaning bill.”

Melissa noted that her main issue with the incident was that Aydin said she felt “assaulted” by Gorg. “She twisted the story of this so immensely,” the New Jersey native said. “It makes the show look bad. It gives a sense of dirtiness.”

After the drink-throwing incident made headlines, Andy Cohen said Entertainment Tonight that he thought the situation was “disgusting”, adding “period”.

Throwing drinks is not uncommon at Bravo, but one insider said Us Weekly that the network is “not happy” that this happened at the three-day fan festival. “Brava executives spoke with both Gorga and Jennifer Aydin after seeing the viral video,” the source explained. “They wanted to know that they do not condone or condone this type of interaction and behavior, especially physical. The network is not happy with either party.”
