Pump Rules’ Raquel Leviss isn’t on the ‘best of terms’ with Katie Maloney

Cast divided. While joking about her relationship with Tom Schwartz, Raquel Leviss hinted that her friendship with Katie Maloney he was going through a difficult period after the filming of the 10th season Vanderpump Rules.

“[We are] not in the best conditions. I can’t speak for her, but I’m just keeping my distance and letting her sort out her feelings,” Lewis, 28, exclusively said Us Weekly at BravoCon on Saturday, October 15th.

The model ignored the romance rumors about her, and Schwartz (39) revealed that the partners got closer amid the split. “We are good friends right now. I feel like [our breakups] it kind of brought us together as friends and we were able to support each other,” she added. “I didn’t expect that friendship to blossom, but I’m happy that it did.”

Leviss’ insight into her relationship with co-owner TomTom comes two months later Us he confirmed that his teammates relaxed during Scheana Shay and Brock Davies‘wedding. At the time, an insider revealed that the California native and Schwartz “burned each other” after celebrating their co-stars’ big moment.

Earlier that year, the business owner and Maloney, 35, announced their split after more than a decade. “Well this is bullshit,” Schwartz wrote via Instagram in March. “I am not a victim. I won’t write too sad a song. Totally respect Katie’s decision and we’ve had healthy, productive conversations about it. It would have been much sadder if she had decided to stay with me without being happy.”

In his lengthy statement, the Minnesota native said his “heart hurts” amid a major life change. “How do I capture 12 years of love in a f–king canned Instagram caption. I’m not quite ready to use the ‘D’ word [because] it’s too painful,” he continued. “We’ve had some of the most blissful, romantic, fun moments humanly possible during our relationship. I’m talking heaven-on-earth-level joy. She taught me so much about love and being a better partner.”

The former SUR waitress, for her part, revealed that it was her decision to end their marriage.

“I realized that I had to really start prioritizing myself and my happiness. It just had to happen. That’s just what everything inside of me was saying, I thought it got to the point where I felt like I was going to snap,” she shared on an episode of her podcast “You’re Gonna Love Me” that same month. “It has been building up for months. I just felt disconnected. I felt like I was drifting further and further away.”

A month later, the Utah native explained how Leviss split James Kennedy inspired her to look at her love life. “When they announced at the reunion that they broke up — it was a little empowering because when you’re trying to figure out what to do and you see other people being strong and their beliefs being like that, you’re like, ‘Okay, I can do it, I can do it they can,” Maloney exclusively said Us in April.

At the time, the former beauty pageant contestant joined Maloney’s podcast to discuss their individual breakups. (Leviss and Kennedy, 30, shocked their co-stars when they confirmed their split during the season 9 reunion in January.)

“It was a processing thing. It’s like I realize: ‘Is this really the relationship for me?’ Coming to terms with that and taking steps mentally to prepare yourself to leave a relationship that no longer serves you the way you need it to,” Leviss recalled of ending her engagement. “I think it’s inspiring when you see other people leave relationships that are no longer for them. And I think deep down if you get that feeling, then you should trust your gut and go with it. Do what you need to know mentally to prepare, but also don’t push the person if they’re not the person for you.”

During Vanderpump Rules panel at BravoCon, Leviss noted that she’s still exploring her dating options. “I’m single and living my life,” she told fans of her view on relationships.

In the meantime, Us confirmed earlier this month that Schwartz and Maloney’s divorce is officially over.
