Police say the teenager was “playing” with his cousin when he was shot

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) – A teenager was shot in the leg during a “fight” with his cousin in north St. Louis early Friday afternoon, police told News 4.

St. Louis Police Department officials said the victim is a 13-year-old boy. was shot in the leg in the 5100 block of Northland at about 1:10 p.m.

The victim and his 18-year-old nephew were “fighting” when the 18-year-old pointed a loaded gun at the victim and pulled the trigger. When officers arrived, the 13-year-old was conscious and breathing.

An 18-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
