Pedestrian seriously injured in crash on I-270; MSHP is looking for a driver

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) – One person was seriously injured in a crash on Interstate 270 Tuesday afternoon.

Troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol said the man was struck in the southbound lanes of I-270 north of Gravis Road just before 6 a.m. Tuesday. The driver of the vehicle that struck the person continued southbound on the interstate and did not stop.

Evidence at the scene indicated that the vehicle was an Audi passenger car with a damaged passenger side light and no passenger side mirror.

Witnesses told officers the driver was a white female.
