OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The holiday season is just around the corner, and the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Gardens are gearing up for Christmas.
OKC Zoo SAFARI LIGHTS is a festive celebration of light with a wild touch. Guests will be able to discover larger-than-life illuminated lanterns that highlight wildlife, prehistoric animals and seasonal scenes.
After the ride tour, guests park and re-enter the zoo to enjoy the walk.
SAFARI LIGHTS starts on Saturday 12th November and runs every night until the New Year with ride and walk experiences from 5.30pm. until 11 p.m
Organizers say it will be open on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
The ride experience ticket is $65 per vehicle and includes up to 4 walking tickets. Walk-in only admission is $15 per guest ages 3 and up.
Tickets are required buy in advance.
Other events associated with SAFARI LIGHTS include a dinner with Santa, a fun run through a driving course, a Night for the Senses and photos with Santa.
