North Las Vegas police are searching for a man who went missing from a group home

Las Vegas, Nev. (FOX5) – North Las Vegas police are trying to find a mentally disabled man who they say disappeared from his gang home.

Police say Josu Parra-Meza, 29, was last seen around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon near Allen and El Campo Grande.

NVLPD describes him as 5′8, 233 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a medium brown complexion. Police say he was last seen wearing a grayish blue shirt, green shorts with a tie and black slides as shoes.

Parra-Meza suffers from mental retardation, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, seizures and violent tendencies.

He is not a native speaker but understands Spanish.

Anyone with information on Parra-Meza’s whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the North Las Vegas Police Department at 702-633-9111.
