Las Vegas, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are looking for a man accused of shooting and killing a woman after an altercation.
Monday night just after 11 police officers received details of a shooting in the 6200 block of Craigmont Avenue near Jones Boulevard and Harmon Avenue.
Responding officers found an elderly woman suffering from a gunshot wound. The woman was taken to UMC, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
Homicide investigators said the woman had an argument with the man she was temporarily living with.
According to law enforcement agencies, the suspect fled the area before the police arrived.
Investigators have identified the suspect as 26-year-old Hunter Allen McGuire. Police said he was last seen driving a gray or silver Hyundai Elantra with Arizona license plate K8A1B2A.
Police believe he frequently travels between Las Vegas and Kingman, Arizona.
McGuire should be considered armed and dangerous.
