Lucky for Life’s second prize winner bought a ticket at Mitchell’s

Mitchell, SD (Dakota News Now) – Monday’s Lucky for Life drawing will result in the next South Dakota lottery winner.

The Lucky for Life window was marked by a second prize winner of $25,000 per year for life or a cash option of $390,000. The winning ticket is picked up at Cubby’s Mitchell East, located at 1000 S. Burr St.

The ticket matched all five numbers and was just a lucky ball away from winning the top prize. The winning numbers were 12, 19, 24, 27 and 38, while the lucky ball was 11.

The South Dakota Lottery advises the winner to immediately sign the back of the ticket and consult a financial advisor. Rewards can be claimed at any South Dakota shopping center – the Sioux Falls shopping center is located at 3605 Western Ave., Suite B.

Thursday’s second-place winner is the ninth Lucky for Life runner-up since its debut in South Dakota in 2017. South Dakota was also the home of Lucky for Life’s top award winner.
