Law enforcement agencies from the Low Countries will host a resource event for the vulnerable, low-income community

GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCBD) – Several local law enforcement agencies have teamed up to host “Extending Branches,” an event that provides essential services to displaced or vulnerable people in the lowlands.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, the Goose Creek Police Department and the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office will hold their Extended Branches event in October.

The event takes place on October 22nd from 1pm to 5pm at the First Baptist Church of Goose Creek.

Several organizations, agencies and churches are collaborating on the event to provide resources to vulnerable and low-income people.

Assistance with health, clothing, COVID-19 vaccines, housing, pets and food will be available.

Food and toiletry boxes/bags on a first-come, first-served basis.

An ID is not required for the event.
