Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom would celebrate 10 years of marriage in September 2019. Although their relationship ended long before then, the two have continued to offer glimpses of their loving but often tumultuous union over the years.

She said, ‘Hi, Mookah.’ ‘Mookah’ is the name my mother used to call me,” Odom recalled Us in March 2017. “She said that to tell me I’m not dead. She played a big role in getting her memory back. She would bring pictures of my mother and grandmother. I kept thinking, am I paralyzed forever? Am I mute forever? It was terrible s–t. Faith got me through.”

Kardashian filed for divorce a second time in May 2016. Their marriage officially ended in December 2016, but insiders previously said Us that Odom would “still like to be with Khloe.”

In February 2022, the former basketball player spoke candidly about his failed marriage while participating in the third season of the reality series Celebrity Big Brotherr.

“When I married Khloé, there were so many things I did wrong when it came to that relationship. If I could have it back, of course I would take it back. It was never my intention to hurt her. My mind and head were not in the right place. I didn’t take care of myself,” he said during his confession.
