Imperial Valley experiences power outages and flooding

EL CENTRO, Calif. (Kima, Kesi) – The Imperial Valley is experiencing a series of flooding and power outages throughout this Saturday storm.

On Twitter post, the Imperial Irrigation District (IID) said 4,696 customers lost power in Imperial and El Centro. Brigades are working hard to repair the system.

Not only that, according to the El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC), water entered the entrance of the hospital.

Besides, ECRMC is also working hard to keep water out of reach of patients.

No water has yet entered patient areas or laboratories.
