(Original): The Grand Ave entrance to the 101 Freeway Northbound is closed due to a vegetation fire west of the freeway, the CHP said Monday morning.
The San Luis Obispo Fire Department said they received reports of a possible fire at the structure around 6:13 a.m., but upon arrival fire crews determined it was a vegetation fire.
The fire has since been extinguished, fire officials said.
There are no reports of injuries.
Officials said the border section remains closed while crews investigate the origin of the fire.
