A cold front stalling to our north will keep conditions wet and warm through the weekend. For fall weather lovers, a nice cool-down will set in by Wednesday as another cold front is expected. This will reduce the chances of rain and humidity for the rest of next week.
Meanwhile, this afternoon will see seasonal highs in the upper 80s. Scattered showers and storms will develop across Southwest Florida by late afternoon. A few showers and storms will linger along the coast late tonight. Expect highs in the upper 80s and lows in the 70s through the weekend.
Tropical Storm Karl will reach southern Mexico by tonight or Saturday morning. Karl is not a threat to the US. There is only one area of interest in the far eastern Atlantic with little prospect of development. Count on the NBC 2 Hurricane Watch Team to keep you informed.
