BISMARCK, ND (KFYR) – Five people were sent to the hospital after a house fire in Bismarck Wednesday morning. A fire department spokesman said they were called to the 100 block of West Bismarck just after 3:30 a.m.
When firefighters arrived, they found heavy flames. Several people had to be rescued from the apartment building.
The Red Cross helped displaced families. The entire building was damaged by heat and smoke.
The cause of this incident is being investigated.
