Jewelry drama! Erika Jayne spoke out about the scandal surrounding her $750,000 earrings, which she lost in a June lawsuit involving her ex-husband Tom Girardicase of embezzlement.
Amidst rumors that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Zvezda’s diamonds are up for auction, the 51-year-old reality star claims they are “not”.
“They are on appeal,” she explained Us Weekly at BravoCon on Friday, Oct. 14, adding, “We’ll see what happens.”
Erika Jayne lost her tub jewels Judge Barry Russell ruled in June that “settlement funds from a trust account created for a class action lawsuit led by Thomas’ firm Girardi Keese were used to pay for the diamond earrings.” Although the judge didn’t believe the Bravo personality “knew the earrings were stolen property,” she was still ordered to return them.
“The lawsuit is another misguided attempt to blame Erica for actions by Tom Girardi and others that she had no knowledge of and was not involved in,” Erica’s attorney said. Us in a statement after the verdict. “The truth, if it matters, was recently summed up by Bankruptcy Judge Russell: ‘From my point of view, I accept what she said. Given the nature of what I know about the case, just strictly from this case, I don’t think – to say it’s unlikely she was aware of any shenanigans going on would be an understatement.”
The California resident, for her part, filed a complaint a month later.
Although Erika claimed that the jewelry was not for sale, a spokesperson for John Moran Auctioneers claims that it was Page Six on Tuesday that they are in fact up for auction. According to the company’s official website, the auction starts on December 7.

Erika has repeatedly denied her involvement in her ex-husband’s alleged embezzlement drama, in which the former attorney, 83, allegedly took funds from plane crash victims he represented and used them, in part, to buy luxury items for his then-wife.
The Exxpen$ive singer filed for divorce from Girardi in November 2020 after more than 20 years of marriage. Girardi, who currently suffers from dementia, is currently in a nursing home.
Aside from her legal troubles, Erika exclusively claimed Us on Friday, while she wasn’t involved with her RHOBH co-stars Kathy Hilton and Kyle Richards‘ apart, she wished she behaved differently in the 12th season of the hit reality series.
“The only thing I regret this year is [the] alcohol and antidepressants,” she said. “That’s the only thing and it’s not a good combination. So yeah, it wasn’t my best moment and that’s all I regret [it].”
