DWTS’ Koko Iwasaki, Kiki Nyemchek’s Relationship Timeline

Perfectly in step! Dancing with the stars pro Koine “Koko” Iwasaki and boyfriend Kiki NyemchekHer love story has been captivating fans since they met on the reality show in 2017.

The duo competed in the 14th season So you think you can dance and until they won the show, they found each other. (Iwasaki finished second, while her boyfriend finished fourth.)

The dancers’ chemistry became more and more apparent as they performed with each other throughout 2017. So you think you can dance the tour. However, they confirmed their relationship only at the beginning of 2018.

“I wanted to wait for a special time to post this picture or even to post a picture of us at all, but then I thought it was stupid, especially since every day with you is so special,” Iwasaki, who was born in Japan and raised in Florida, he wrote via Instagram in April 2018. “My love… We laugh together. We order at least 6 meals at any restaurant and eat EVERYTHING.”

Two months later, Nyemchek gave fans a peek into his life with Iwasaki when he showered her on her birthday.

“To the girl with the biggest smile in the world, whom I have the privilege of seeing every day, I wish you the happiest birthday ever,” Latin dancer wrote his Instagram tribute in June 2018. “You know how special you are to me and to your family and friends. You get what you give and deserve only the best. Anyway, it’s party time 🎉🍾🥂🎟💤.”

In January 2022, while traveling alone, Iwasaki gave her voice to her boyfriend on social media.

“I’m sitting in the airport and all I can think about is how much I love you and the life we ​​have together,” contemporary dancer he wrote then via Instagram next to a picture of her man. “Thank you for always showing up, always making me laugh and carrying me through my losses as much as my wins. Our little party of 3 was everything I could have ever asked for. 🐾🖤.”

The couple, who share two dogs, have continued to work together both on and off camera. In early 2022, they were part of Dancing with the Stars tourand in September of that year, Iwasaki was promoted to pro for the 31st season.

Nyemchek, for his part, supported Iwasaki’s journey with his Season 31 dance partner and Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagninoasking fans to vote each week to stay in the competition.

However, the couple’s busy schedules did not prevent them from collaborating on joint projects. In September 2022, Nyemchek and Iwasaki were spotted on the lot of Universal Studios in Los Angeles shooting a music video for Haley Reinhart and Brooke Eden.
