During the operation of law enforcement agencies in Milam district, drugs and weapons were confiscated

CAMERON, TX (KWTX) – During a joint operation involving the Williamson Sheriff’s Office, the Milam County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Criminal Investigation Division, three people were arrested and drugs, weapons and a container of military explosives were seized.

The seizure was made in the early morning hours of October 17, 2022, following the execution of a search warrant at a residence on Russell Drive outside of Rockdale. Officials did not provide the exact address.

“A large quantity of controlled substances and weapons were seized,” the Milam County Sheriff’s Office said.

Phillip Pounder and Crystal Rivison were both charged with criminal mischief and delivery of a controlled substance. A third person, Raul Avila, was charged with misconduct for allegedly having a “false, fictitious, altered or obscured” license plate number.

Authorities seized more than 1,100 grams of methamphetamine, more than 10 grams of heroin, more than 38 grams of cocaine, more than 270 grams of marijuana, more than 19 grams of marijuana, and more than 200 pills of “other controlled substances.” said

In addition, investigators confiscated 16 weapons and containers of military explosives.
