DPS says motorcyclist injured in I-14 crash made dangerous lane change

Nolanville, Texas (KWTX) – The Texas Department of Public Safety said the 58-year-old driver of a 2008 Suzuki motorcycle was seriously injured after he drove onto the shoulder of I-14 and changed lanes.

The collision occurred on October 15, 2022 at approximately 2 pm in Nolanville.

“The motorcyclist made an unsafe lane change, suddenly crossed all lanes of traffic and lost control of the motorcycle,” DPS said.

“The motorcycle then landed in the bar pit.”

The motorcyclist was transported by air ambulance to Baylor Scott & White Temple Emergency Room with serious injuries, DPS said.
