MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A Dixie Queen employee was arrested after a shooting after a heated argument with a customer over a refund.
Erica Ausley is charged with aggravated assault for the Oct. 9 incident.
That Sunday, police responded to the restaurant located at 4062 S Third Street. There, the victim told police she got into an argument with Ausley while trying to get a refund for her food order.
Ausley then went outside, grabbed a gun from his car and fired a shot into the air, the affidavit said.
Ausley admitted to officers at the scene that he fired the shots.
He was arrested on Sunday, October 16.
Her bond is set at $10,000.
No court date has been set yet.
On June 29, Ausley was charged with five counts of aggravated assault after he allegedly fired two shots at a victim he had been arguing with earlier.
The victim was in the car with her mother, sister and daughters.
No one was injured, police said.
The next day, he posted a $7,500 bond.
