Dell Rapids Dental to build a new facility to keep up with demand

DELL RAPIDS, SD (Dakota News Now) – Dell Rapids Dental is building a new facility to meet the growing demand for its services, according to a press release from the Dell Rapids Economic Development Corporation.

The Dell Rapids Economic Development Corporation will host a groundbreaking ceremony on behalf of Dell Rapids Dental on Friday, Oct. 21 at 4:30 p.m. to celebrate the construction of its new facility. The ceremony will be held at 1102 N Hwy 77, Dell Rapids, SD.

The new facility, designed and built by Fiegen Construction, has ten exam rooms that will be expanded in the future. Dr. Matt Ford, DMD, shared, “Our vision has always been to be the best dental office in the area, with expanded hours, greater dentist and hygienist availability, and the ability to offer most services under one new roof. , state-of-the-art facilities, we feel as though we can fulfill this vision.

The 6,500-square-foot building includes an additional 2,500 square feet for the tenant. This space offers high quality commercial space in Dell Rapids. Lucas Fiegen, vice president of Fiegen Construction, added, “Designing this state-of-the-art facility with longtime friend Dr. Ford was very rewarding. We see the vision becoming a reality.”

The new Dell Rapids Dental home is next to the Fair Food Store, Ace Hardware and the new Dell Rapids Lumber Company (currently under construction). Across the street from 15 is Jensen’s new residential subdivision, where more than 100 new residential lots will soon be built.

Tom Early, Mayor of Dell Rapids congratulated the organization, “Dr. Ford and his team are making a long-term investment in this community that will benefit current and future residents of Dell Rapids for years to come. This new dental clinic will improve our healthcare and Dell makes Rapids a place to call home.”

Dell Rapids Dental is a full service dental clinic serving rural communities. The team, which consists of 3 dentists and ten full-time employees, also has an office in Flandreau, SD. Dr. Ford added, “Dell Rapids and the surrounding communities have been very good to us, so we are excited to make a long-term investment in Dell Rapids and create an even better place to serve our patients.”
