Dave and Odette Annable welcome second baby after reconciliation

A family of four! Odette Annable and Dave Annable welcomed their second child on Thursday, October 13.

“Please give a warm welcome to the little lady who has completed our family and stolen all our hearts. Andersen Lee Annable, but we call her Andi 💕 #AndiAnnable,” Odette, 37, she captioned a black-and-white photo of her newborn daughter on Monday, October 17. “You came into this world last Thursday October 13th, fast and furious in about 2 hours door to door. The birth story is for another day. Phew 😮‍💨.”

The Super girl the actress continued, “For now, we’re going to drown in your sweetness and soak up every bit of this beautiful time in our lives. “In case you were wondering, yes, Charlie is possessed and yes, she thinks it’s just HER baby ;).”

Dave, meanwhile, shared a series of photos of both his daughters via Instagram on Mondaygushes over the newest member of the family.

“Odette and I, but mostly Charlie, are thrilled to welcome Andersen Lee Annable ‘Andi’. Mom and baby are doing great,” the 42-year-old captioned the hospital footage. “Big sister Charlie didn’t stop smiling. The next chapter has begun and we couldn’t be more grateful. #Familyoffour #AndiAnnable.”

The Again you the actress and her husband announced in May that they were expecting their second child after three miscarriages. “It’s been a very long journey to get here, but we’re here and we’re thrilled and couldn’t be more grateful,” the You Again actress wrote via Instagram at the time. “A new chapter begins. A truly special Mother’s Day. 💕.”

Ex 666 Park Avenue actor and Walker The star, who got married in October 2010, welcomed her daughter Charlie in September 2015. Malena, who is now 6 years old, was overjoyed when her parents told her she would be a big sister.

“Now I can have my own baby!” she exclaimed in the sweet video after the duo showed her a sonogram from Odette’s pregnancy. Dave jokingly replied, “Or we can have a baby.”

In June 2021 Tell me a story alum revealed that she suffered a third miscarriage. “The only thing that was certain was how Dave and I felt when I found out I was pregnant. We were ecstatic,” Odette wrote on Instagram at the time, reflecting on the loss of what should have been her term.

“After two miscarriages after Charlie and after our personal journey as a couple, we finally felt like we were in the right place and our gift was this baby in my belly,” she continued. “I was 15 weeks pregnant when this photo was taken back in December and today would have been your due date. There was another plan and our baby is no longer with us.”

The couple has also recently faced problems in their romance, after announcing in October 2019 that they had split. “It is with heavy hearts that we have made the joint decision to separate at this time,” they said Us in a statement at the time. “Our daughter is our primary concern and we remain committed to co-parenting. Please respect our family’s privacy at this time.”

However, less than a year later, the two reconciled. They announced the news via their Instagram accounts in August 2020, simultaneously posting a sweet kiss photo of themselves. “2020. It’s not all bad news. #TheAnnables,” they wrote on both posts.

Ahead of their reconciliation, Odette admitted she had a “tough time” after the break-up. “I’m incredibly grateful for the last 10 years,” she wrote via Instagram in January 2020. “It’s been the best of times and the worst of times. They shaped me, I grew. My goal for the new decade, besides promising myself to never stop learning and growing, is to try to be the best version of myself.”
