FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Happy Tuesday!

We have another very cold day for Central Ohio. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 40s, but a brisk breeze remains, making it feel a few degrees cooler. By this afternoon, patchy shower activity is really starting to pick up, mostly in the form of rain, with some wet flakes in the northwest. That shower activity continues overnight, and that wet mix moves closer to Columbus and even into our southern counties overnight. Little to no accumulation is expected, but we’re still looking at those first flakes of the season!

Shower and mixing activity continues Wednesday morning, before gradually tapering off Wednesday afternoon. Breezes linger around Wednesday, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Wednesday’s high will be up to two degrees warmer, into the 40s.

By Thursday, clouds begin to clear and temperatures begin a warming trend. Highs will be in the lower 50s.

By Friday, we end the work week on a very seasonal note, with highs in the lower 60s under mostly sunny skies. This will mark the 10th week of Friday Night Football, with more dry and beautiful weather!

Temperatures return to the 70s for the weekend, with mostly sunny skies.
