“To me, health is wealth, and with my busy and active lifestyle, it’s important to take care of myself so that I show up every day with energy and a positive attitude,” the R&B artist, 36, said in an interview with PopSugar. “I love being able to cook healthy meals at home when the weather allows — and still have better-for-you snacks and sweet treats when I travel to keep my life balanced.”
The “One, Two Step” singer admitted that Rice Krispies treats and dairy-free salted caramel ice cream are her go-tos when she craves something sweet to snack on. As for meals with the family, Ciara’s favorite dinner includes classic marinara pasta with grilled vegetables or lean protein on the side.
“I’m a Southern girl and growing up I had a very traditional Southern diet. As I got older, everything became ‘total wellness’, and it’s all about finding balance,” the “Goodies” singer admitted.
When it comes to keeping her grounded, Ciara admitted that “finding joy and self-love are extremely important” to her. “My family and friends are everything to me, and taking time out and finding new ways to spend time together always makes my heart full — even if it’s just getting out of school and being with the kids,” she explained.
Ciara also noted that when she eats healthy, she wakes up “charged with energy” and has a “clear mind to tackle the day.” In the past year, Ciara has recorded her latest album and launched a skincare brand.

Ciara also recently moved to Denver for her husband Russell Wilsonis a new job with the Denver Broncos. “Denver is amazing,” Ciara told Entertainment Tonight in October. “The fans were amazing. The food is amazing. The way to my heart is good.”
The entertainer added: “I’m so happy. I love our home. My children are happy at school. I love Denver – it’s pretty amazing.”
