Billy Ray Cyrus seemingly confirms engagement to Firerose

Looks like congratulations are in order! Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose they seem to have confirmed their engagement after sparking rumors last month.

“Fall,” the couple captioned a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, Oct. 18, alongside several selfies in which Firerose donned a diamond ring. Although the musicians did not explicitly address the engagement speculation, fans left congratulatory messages in the comments.

“Congratulations. God bless you and much love and happiness to you both,” one Instagram user wrote.

The apparent engagement comes six months later Tish Cyrus filed for divorce from Billy Ray (61) after almost three decades of marriage. According to court documents he obtained Us WeeklyTish, 55, claimed in the filing that she and the “Old Town Road” artist had not “cohabited as husband and wife for a continuous period exceeding two years.”

The exes have already separated and reconciled twice. In October 2010 Hannah Montana alum filed for divorce before calling it quits in March 2011. The producer and actress filed her own divorce papers two years later. Next month, Us they confirmed that the couple is working out their issues.

“We both woke up and realized we loved each other and decided we wanted to stay together. We both went to couples therapy, something we hadn’t done in our 22 years together, and it brought us closer and really opened up our communication in amazing ways,” Billy Ray’s rep said in a statement to Us in that time. “Tish also said that marriage can be really hard, especially after 22 years in entertainment. We had some tough times, but we both realized we didn’t want to be another statistic and we wanted to make it work.”

The former couple share three children: Miley Cyrus29, Bryson Cyrus28 i Noah Cyrus22. The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer also adopted his estranged wife’s two children from a previous relationship: Brandi Cyrus35 i Trace Cyrus33. They announced their decision to withdraw it in April.

“After 30 years, five amazing children and a lifetime of memories, we have decided to go our separate ways – not with sadness, but with love in our hearts,” a family representative said in a statement to Us in that time. “We will always be family and we look forward to continuing our loving experience as friends and parents. We didn’t come to this decision lightly or quickly, but with so much going on in the world, we wanted to provide some clarity and closure so we can stay focused on what’s important.”

Billy Ray linked up with his new flame, Firerose, after they collaborated on the track “New Day,” released in July 2021. The “All Figured Out” singer wished her child a happy birthday via Instagram in August. “The world is a better place with you in it. Happy birthday Billy,” she captioned a snap of her and the country star.
