Ashley and Jared recall the ‘BiP’ conversation with Michael Allio about Sierra

Think about it Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon official senders Michael Allio and Danielle Maltby. While some Bachelor in Paradise fans are questioning the single dad’s new relationship after he broke up Sierra Jacksonthe couple is on board.

“I’m for Danielle and Michael. At the end of the day, I think Sierra is an amazing person and I love her so much. From what we realized when we were down on the beach, it was more that Michael, maybe, didn’t feel it with Sierra,” Jared said. Us Weekly Exclusive on Tuesday, October 18. “It was more about his relationship with Sierra than ‘He’s not ready for a relationship.'”

Ashley agreed. “And at first, like, before we talked to Michael about it, I was like, ‘Oh, I guess he’s leaving too because he’s probably realizing this isn’t for him.’ But then we talked to him the next day and he said, ‘No, it’s not that. I just knew it wouldn’t be long-term,” she said.

The Bachelor The Season 21 alum arrived during the Monday, Oct. 17 episode, and many fans questioned the timing since she walked onto the beach just as Michael was preparing to say goodbye ahead of the rose ceremony.

“Danielle comes down — it’s like, ‘Guys, this is a TV show!’ There are people who make decisions,” Ashley continued. “And they will protect the people we want to see there and [who] we want to see their story continue to develop. And Michael A. is one of those people.”

Jared added that fans are often vocal about what they want from the franchise.

“They’re like, ‘Oh, we want it to be about love.’ And then you have two people who are in love and they say, ‘Well, we don’t want to see that. We want to see drama,” he said. “And then they bring in drama and then they say, ‘Well, no, this is supposed to be true love.’ And it’s like, ‘Well, come on now.'”

Sierra, for her part, tweeted that she felt “very disrespected” while watching the episode.

“I’m going to meditate. #bachelorinparadise,” she wrote on Monday, citing Danielle’s arrival as “#appropriate.”

After Michael admitted on the show that he and Danielle talked on camera, Sierra added, “He said ‘a little history’ 🧐.”
