Amazon’s sweater looks almost identical to Duchess Kate’s

Although we’re always a little sad when summer ends, there’s no denying that the line “sweater time” immediately gets Us hyped. Pleasant times are ahead! And this year we feel especially prepared as Duchess Kate she recently provided sweater inspiration through one of her countless stylish outfits!

Of course, we often can’t afford (or even access) the same styles worn by the Duchess of Cambridge. That’s why we’ve become experts at finding similar styles for less. We have to say we think we really hit the jackpot this Amazon discovery!

The Erdem Lotus striped cashmere sweater that Kate wore in July was originally $895 at MatchesFashion (and is now seemingly sold out everywhere). She wore it in Plymouth as the 1851 Royal Patron of the Trust, meeting young people to educate them about sustainability and having fun. She later suited up to join the Great Britain SailGP team in the Commonwealth race!

Okay, so the exact sweater, while chic, isn’t something we can buy. And you know what? That’s perfectly fine. We are definitely happy to save 97% and grab this Amazon Essentials sweater instead of that. It looks practically the same, has tons and tons of rave reviews, and is even on Prime!

This cotton-blend sweater is made from a soft, lightweight yarn and has a “close but comfortable” fit, so it’s not clingy or tight, but it’s not baggy or baggy either. It has a crew neck and ribbing on the collar, cuffs and hem, but we all know the stripes are what make it stand out. The white horizontal stripes start below the shoulders — although you’ll notice that the second stripe from the top is actually light gray for a stylish effect!

While Kate wore a sweater with white shorts and sneakers, we know yours it will also be great in autumn, maybe combined with jeans and boots or even a skirt and heels.
