HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Federal prosecutors have charged an alleged fentanyl supplier after a multi-agency task force raid in Pearl City, officials said Tuesday.
Bronson Kepaa, 38, is charged with drug and firearms offenses, authorities said.
According to court documents, the Drug Enforcement Administration found Kepaa in the town of Waiau Gardens, Kai on Monday after a network of his alleged dealers began working with federal agents.
The DEA said the group led investigators to its supplier after a fatal overdose earlier this month.
During Kepaa’s arrest, agents found more than 60 grams of fentanyl, a kilo of crystal meth, multiple handguns and boxes of ammunition.
If convicted, Kepaa faces 10 years to life in prison.
