Accused murderer and former Clark County public official suspended from practicing law

Las Vegas, Nev. (FOX5) – New charges were filed Wednesday for a former Clark County public administrator accused of murdering a veteran Las Vegas journalist.

The new charge now affects his ability to practice law.

The Nevada Supreme Court disbarred Robert Telles from practicing law.

This, after allegations that he mishandled client funds.

Court documents obtained by FOX5 News say Telles appears to have transferred funds from his trust account after leaving private practice to take the public administrator position.

Records show that the transfer indicated misuse of customer funds.

Robert Telles is the sole suspect in the murder of reporter Jeff German over German articles about misconduct in the office of a government administrator.

Telles is being held without bond in the Clark County Detention Center.
