A teenage suspect in a fatal fight appeared in court

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – One of the men charged in a fatal shooting in Oxford was due in Shelby County Court on Tuesday.

Tristan Holland, 18, faces one charge in the case: accessory after the fact.

The incident happened on Sunday morning in Oxford.

Police say two Ole Miss students crashed a car in the Oxford City Hall parking lot.

One student, Walker Fielder, 21, died, and another student, Blanche Williamson, 20, remains in an area hospital.

Oxford police say Holland and another suspect, 24-year-old Seth Rokitka, knew they had injured someone but left the scene without calling police.

Holland is returned to Mississippi.

“He’s been arraigned here and he’s ready to go to Oxford and face the charges,” Holland’s lawyer, Justin Gee, said.

Holland and Roquiquita are both from Collierville, but neither attends Ole Miss.

Fielder’s funeral will be held on Wednesday in Jackson, Mississippi.

Williamson’s family says his condition is improving.
