A new recreational golf course is coming to Bettendorf

BETTENDORF, Iowa (KWQC) – City officials in Bettendorf broke ground on a new recreational golf and multi-sports facility Wednesday.

The Iron Tee Entertainment golf course will be located east of the TBK Bank Sports Complex at the intersection of Middle Road and Forest Grove.

Organizers say the three-level venue will be open to people of all ages. It has a video area of ​​10,000 square meters, which includes a virtual reality platform called “Hyperdeck VR”.

Also featured is Lucky-Putt Golf, a technology-driven social golf experience.

CEO of Development Ryan Hintze says the location will be similar to Top Golf in that it will have 59 climate-controlled outdoor bays. Hintze says the projected completion date is 2023.
