MOLINE, Ill (KWQC) – A new manufacturing program called Ignite has arrived at Black Hawk College.
This program is the result of a partnership between Black Hawk College, Deere & Co. and the Safer Foundation.
Richard Bush, Vice President for Economic and Workforce Development, stated, “Ignite is a program designed to introduce or ignite the interest of students and participants from all walks of life and to inspire the next generation of manufacturing workers.”
Ignite is a six-course program where students can gain essential manufacturing skills, use hands-on workstations, and generally learn about the profession. Each course can be completed in one semester.
