LINCOLN, Neb. (COLON) – The Lincoln Police Department has cited a 32-year-old woman in connection with a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred in September.
Around 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, LPD said Marcianna Nielsen, 32, of Lincoln, was cited and released on charges of vehicular manslaughter and possession of marijuana in connection with a fatal crash that occurred Saturday, Sept. 24, on the Northwest Side. . & West O Street.

According to police, Nielsen was southbound on NW 19 making a left turn onto WO Street when his vehicle was struck by a westbound motorcycle.

Jeffrey Zeiger, 45, of Lincoln, was killed when his motorcycle collided with Nielsen’s car, police said.
Witnesses reported that the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on West O Street when a southbound vehicle pulled out in front of him.
Zeiger was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
