BISMARCK, ND (KFYR) – Here come the brides; At the center of the event in Bismarck were rows of wedding dresses. Bisman Bridal Show held its 14th annual show. Hundreds of brides-to-be must look at possible wedding options, from dresses to decorations.
More than 80 businesses were present at the event center and the bridal show gave businesses the opportunity to network with each other and help customers.
“It’s good, it’s not always about the bridal show, it’s also about getting to know the vendors and the business communication,” said Kari Wagner, owner of Brides on a Dime.
Abby Hogen is just one bride shopping for bridal inspiration for her big day.
“So, I’m really excited about our wedding in June. It’s great to be here and love learning about all the things you need to plan, including weddings, and just trying to get some suggestions and information out there,” said Abby Hogen.
The expo had general admission tickets and VIP access for brides, where they were supposed to be a one-stop shop to find everything they could possibly need to plan their wedding.
“Yes, we do everything we can to get a variety of vendors from jewelry to photography to video to cakes. We strive to give as many people as possible the opportunity to showcase their business today,” said Lacey Kuhn, Bisman Bridal Show Coordinator.
The long-running event has grown over the years and has attracted large numbers of people each year.
“So one of the best parts of the show is seeing all the brides come with their family and friends, the wedding party. Everyone is so excited to be here and we’re so grateful to see their faces,” Kuhn said.
Throughout the day, brides found the missing pieces of their wedding planning process.
Bisman’s next wedding show will be held on March 26.
